As a Practice Business Manager and former member of the 3s’s BEN PBC Executive I found Scott McKenzie a great sounding board on a whole range of issues to do with PBC. His knowledge, shared best practice ideas and “cut to the quick” approach I found stimulating and helpful. I also was very impressed with Scott’s ability to remember the specifics of issues or business in our consortium when he must have many others to remember in the same way. We moved our thinking on regarding PBC in leaps and bounds once Scott became our guide and mentor and throughout my period of working with Scott I felt his thinking was always “ahead of the game” but rooted in practicality which created the perfect balance for me. PBC needs also to have its lighter moments and refreshingly Scott has that rare gift of being able to switch from the serious to the lighter side of the work we were engaged in. When much of the agenda in the early stages is quite steady and unexciting Scott was able to keep the Board both motivated and on track with his tried and tested processes and sense of humour.
