Governance Workshops
Session 1
This day is built around developing the vision for the consortium; in short what the consortium wants to achieve using PBC as the vehicle. This is then followed by developing the structures required to deliver the vision along with the management and support required to achieve this.
We look specifically at management and support costs in order to understand exactly what running a consortium costs in terms of people, time and money to deliver the required outcomes. We also look at board structures, including voting rights as well as how you keep the consortium inclusive rather than exclusive.Session 2
This is one of the toughest sessions you will face; here we explore performance management and risk sharing within the consortium; this is a key day in developing systems, audit and evaluation processes for the consortium, while also giving consideration to how you will manage any poor performance.
This session also includes developing a monthly report format to drive continued engagement while also monitoring the group performance, where they are versus where they want / need to be.Session 3
Here we look at an entry and exit strategy for individual practices; we look at a policy for new applications as well as how we allow Practices to leave the consortium, both managed and chosen exit.
Financial management forms the second part of this session; we agree how you will allocate any Freed up Resources (FuR). In forming a consortium you are agreeing to manage a considerable budget and you will want to ensure that this budget is managed effectively and responsibly. We are always happy to discuss your requirements
