Peter Case Upton

Peter is based in the North West of England and is an adaptable Business Analyst /Project Manager who has worked fornumerous clients developing and managing a wide range of high profile, complex programmes and change projects. Examplesinclude health market analysis, process, governance and systems development with the NHS, workflow mapping, business case development, requirements gathering, information strategy, organisational design, strategic resource relocation, change management, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), and design of Capability Maturity Model related methodologies.

Educated to Master’s level and a member of the Association of Project Management, Peter was a project manager for United Utilities for 20 years and for the last 12 years has carried out a significant number of business analysis commissions for clients including NHS North West, Liverpool PCT, AXA Insurance and Liverpool Business School. Peter is currently involved in the development of organisational design methodologies for GP Consortia Commissioning support units.

In addition to Peter being a Chartered Engineer he was a non-executive director of a social enterprise for several years and is currently carrying out research to assess the appetite within the NHS and local government to create Social Enterprises and Community Interest Companies.

Whilst Peter was working with Liverpool John Moores University his teaching expertise included Project Management to MBA level, Business Information Systems to undergraduate level and Change Management to Masters level. Peter has also taught Business Continuity Management at University Level and for the UK Cabinet Office.
